three months

Don’t put me down just yet, please. I much prefer to be in your arms, or at least close enough to tell you all about this day I’m having. And as an added bonus, this adorable toothless smile has your name on it! I’ll even hold my head up so you can see it better. Oh, and here come the eyebrows… How you doin’?

my hair's longest and shortest days

Since I got pretty intense earlier in the countdown, I’ll take this one down a notch… I wish I could change my stubbornly stick-straight hair to bouncy curls. I would be lying, though, if I said I would grow those curls out into long, lush ringlets. I’d probably still keep my hair super short. But it would be super short and CURLY, returning softly to my head, rather than sticking straight out in all directions. Yes, that would be lovely.

Day 23 – A picture of your favorite book.

Shantaram, a novel written by Gregory David Roberts, inspired by actual events in his life. “Lindsay” (Roberts) is a convicted robber who escapes from Australian prison to Mumbai, India, to do a world of good and contribute to a world of trouble. The characters that fill his life draw you into the story so much that you finish the book and miss your new “friends.” I haven’t heard anyone say they read this book and didn’t like it. There is a film version rumored to be in the works (starring Johnny Depp as Lindsay), but no official end date has been published.
